sc400 2000 rpm idle.

Help !!!
Hi there.
My Soarer coupe (Lexus SC 400) is driving me mad. She idles at 2000 rpm, hot or cold, AC on or off. When in drive it shows about 12-1500 rpm and in traffic it is bad news having to keep my boot firmly on the brake pedal to prevent her bulldozering the car in front !!!
Has anyone else experienced this?

Isc valve could be stuck? Mine was stuck but it was stuck closed, if it is stuck remove it and pull it apart and clean it.

Was your idle high before and did it cure the problem?
