Rusted exhaust and leaky steering rack

So the exhaust pipes directly behind my cat are rusting through, bad enough that my O2 sensor is messing up my fuel ratio and causing me to run super rich. Could i just cut the sensors out and put them into new pipes? maybe even take the next resonator off for a bit of a more bad-ass sound? (i've been thinking about taking a resonator out regardless just for a bit of fun.

Also, has anybody bought new seals for their steering rack? Mine is leaking a bit.

Well, I guess I'm gonna try some Lucas Power Steering Stop Leak and see how that goes. I'm sure that i can cut the O2 sensors out and get them into new pipes, any better ideas are still appreciated.
