RCA plugs in centre console??

I just found a pair of RCA plugs in the centre console of my 91 V8 Soarer. What are they for? I thought it might be a aux in, but found no way of accessing it.

They're the Factory Input for Video & Mono Sound for the EMV, but theres a good chance they won't work as most of the units are suffering from the classic Error 12 problem
