R154 Tranny from 1JZ Soarer

Hey guys. I have a 95 SC400 for reference. I can buy an R154 with the seemingly correct shift linkage for my SC to do the conversion at a relatively reasonable price. Would it be better to buy this tranny versus the MKIII at a little bit cheaper price?


I plan on gathering the parts together for the conversion this winter and doing the swap in the spring.

Any help would be appreciated.

The R154 with the remote shifter are from either JZX100 Chasers, or JZZ30 Soarers (94 on).

Its internally the same gearbox as the MkIII R154.
