question about an LSD for my SC300. SRRY 4 Newby question!!

I was told from a local you guys are very friendly and helpful here at lextreme.

so I don't feel to bad about asking this before searching. I'm in a big hurry this morning. need to get my POS crx runnin and out of my friends dads garage, need to do some work on my moms POS kia and best of all... need to start doing some data logging with the sc300 if the roads are dry.

MY QUESTION

I've been told only an lsd from an AUTO 93-98 supra and a NA supra will fit into the SC300.

I dont care if I have to tear apart the diff and replace the differential case. I JUST WANT LSD WITHOUT PAYING $750 (at LEAST)

I'm about to just weld mine locked... lol, but an LSD is going to be so much better.

does the lsd from a 99' gs300 fit the sc400 ?
if so there is one being sold near me for £65 (about 100 USD)
