Hello there,
I've got a 1990 Ls400 and I personally find the power steering too light. Is there anyway to make it heavier? I've heard that its quite easy to do with speed-sensitive systems but I'm unsure if my system is actually a speed sensitive system.

Any feedback would be great. Thanks.

You could always alter the castor angle.

This will load the steering up.

The other solution could be to increase the size of the power steering pump pulley but I think it would have enough in reserve to handle it.

I'm told that the TT Supra rack bolts in but has slightly higher gearing in the gear set which equates to more "feel" at the wheel , I also have a 400 [ and as a note Ryan all the LS had speed sensitive steering ] and as my steering shaft input seal is leaking I want to replace it with a slightly heavier supra rack as I also think it's a bit light in the steering .
Problem is that there aren't too many Supra front cuts around here in Aus and those that have them want a squillion dollars for the rack .
I wonder if the Soarer/SC has a different gearset to the Celsior/LS400 ?
Does anybody know what the SC lock to lock is ?
