Hey guys, I'm sure this has been covered somewhere, but I haven't been able to find any posts that have the same symptoms I am having. I have a 97 SC400 w/128,000 miles, and at times, my power steering feels like it's not even there. This mainly occurs under low-rpm conditions (parking, or slowing down to make a turn). The PS feels fine while I'm going down the road, but whenever I slow down to take a turn, or try to navigate a parking lot, or am backing up slowly, its like driving a non-PS vehicle, with a very small steering wheel. NOT FUN. I've checked for leaks, and have none. The fluid looks good and is at the proper level, I'm just wondering if it's time to re-build or replace the pump. Anybody else have these type of symptoms? Thanks in advance!
