The Racing & Dyno section here has some great old threads but almost nothing recent. Figured a dedicated results thread would give people somewhere to post without starting a new thread every time.
Rules are simple: post your numbers, tell us what's in the car, and what mods made it happen. Dyno sheet, timeslip, or just a credible street number -- all welcome.
I'll start with what I've seen documented here over the years to give some benchmarks:
Stock 1UZ (SC400/LS400): typically 160 to 175 rear-wheel kilowatts on a healthy motor. Some variance depending on dyno type.
Headers, intake, exhaust, tune (N/A): 185 to 210rwkw depending on quality of parts and tune.
Mild single turbo (10 to 12psi, stock bottom end): 280 to 320rwkw is the reliable sweet spot. Above that you're pushing the stock rods hard.
Built motor with single turbo: 400rwkw+ is well-documented on this forum. Several builds here have been there.
Post your results -- especially interested in anyone who's put a built 3UZ on a dyno recently, and anyone running a swap into a lighter chassis where the power-to-weight changes things dramatically.
