oem stereo has gone bye bye

not as in someone stole it
it has suddenly quit working


im thinking the theft protection has some how caused this
is there some way to reset it?

or maybe its about time i invest into a new one?
is there some kind of manual or guide on disassembling the console so i can take out it out?

It's in your owners manual, I would give it a read through

i checked my owners manual it makes no mention of what to do if your antitheft malfunctions

how ever it did mention the security system would disable the car if the battery was unplugged while the doors were locked

it also said that i would lose all my settings if the battery were ever unplugged

so why didnt i think of this before?
i reconnected the battery and my radio came right on! woohoo!
