New Zoom (no.78)

Anyone seen the new zoom mag with the twin turbo 1uz? It's in a tube frame chassis, Holden camria shell and it runs 8sec 1/4 mile. Here are some specs:
Ridgecrest aluminium rods
SPS forged pistons
Dry sumped
Inlet cams reground for extra 24 degrees of duration
2 700hp garrett turbos w/custom manifolds
8 1600cc methanol injectors
100mm throttle body
20 litre intake plenum
Intercooler setup similar to HKS supra drag car
approx 783KW@flywheel

Yeah its a Perth car and I know the guy that owns it - bought my 1UZ from his importer. He is actually building a new car to replace the Camira as the chassis is way over-powered, the car was never meant to have that much Hp or Tq. He had actually thought about a 1UZ TT ages ago (around 1998) but ended up bailing on the idea, even after purchasing an engine.

The quickest pass to date is a 7.9x, cant remember the exact figure though but look out for his new car this season at the Motorplex, has bulk grunt from an even stronger 1UZ running more boost, it is sure to turn heads and run some good times.
