Need help on the how to properly disable the oil driven fan hydraulic motor. I have bridged rather then plugged the two hydraulic oil lines coming out of the hydrualic pump at the source near the pulley's just incase I cannot disable.
I want to make sure the ECU does not activate or power on the pump any longer as I would assume I no longer need it with the electric fan... This is on the 1992 sc400. Does anyone have any ideas from experience, maybe just disconnect the sensor? Or should I just let the hydraulic pump run when it wants to, the motor will not have to work hard anymore as the oil lines bridge/loop and flow smoothly in a circle now that it does not have to push the fan.... Here is a pic from yesterday.... Any thoughts on this???? I can really use some advise on this one anyone please?????
