need help with igniting.

hello..i has been tried for the pass two week tried to get this car(sc400)to run.i'm getting code 14 & 15 and sumtime code 78. i've newly changes the coil packs,fuel pump,fuel filter and passenger fuel regulator.the spark plugs,plugs,cap and rotor look fairly new but i'm gonna tried to change that next.I even tried to swap out two other set of igniter,fuel pump ecu and ECU as well..

but here is the issue with this dame car..its will fire up and run for an min. or two and sumtime doesn't even wants to run at all.the other day its ran super fine for like an two block drive at low RPM and as soon i gave its WOT is will stall:Eyecrazy: !WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM WITH THESE SC400?any helps would be great!thanks!:Eyecrazy: :no:

14 means the ignition failed a certain amount of times. Too many to be exact. When the signal fails (IGf), fuel injection is also halted. To have this intermitently makes me think you have bad wire to the ECU.

You could have a failing coil, especially with the age of the car. But in general, I don't think it is that common on Toyota.

How it works is when the secondary coil fires, it sends a pulse back to the ECU, to let it know that igntion took place. 14 indicates it is not taking place.
