I wouldn't try it given the cost of a rebuild.

I love that movie!!!!!... Anthony Hopkins played a very likable roll... He wouldn't take no for an answer, cooked his leg racing, had a bad prostate, no cash, heart problems, and was very old but young at heart.. All that couldn't stop him from competing on the salt plains in Utah for speed records with that old home made Indian motorcycle of his...... I want to be just like Burt Munro when I grow up ma!!! That old fart is my hero....:headbang:

I recently purchased Team Benneton's used electric arc 5-axis CNC machine. We could cut up some pistons and then turn them on a lathe to get them exactly right. Ok, no I'm just kidding.

To me, pistons are kinda like concrete or roofing labor. Worth the cost and impossible to duplicate for the pirce. Unless you're Burt Monroe from Kiwi land.
