so whats that then? replacing the air suspension for regular spring units?

I haven't got an LS yet but when my other business sells I plan on getting a circa 97 LS400, but the handling puts me off so I need to know what I can do it.

I did speak to some local bloke who is supposedly a race tuner specialist, not to knowledgeable about Lexus and did not think I could chuck springs on.

If I can then yay! can lower it then I presume, should stop it handling like its got turd in the suspension.

Yes, they can be custom made. Shipping is about $400 to AU. I shipped one set before and the cost was eyes popping and jaw dropping.

do they have to be custom? can I not just get some aftermarket King springs or similar? are the fitments quite unique on the LS400?

I had some new shocks put on my Legnum for only $400NZ, admittedly spring for spring not air for spring, but if there are standard shocks locally then I would prefer to do that obviously, otherwise I guess I will have import.

...and it wasn't just your eyes popping and jaw dropping, David!

I am so affair of shipping to Au, the price is so unpredictable. Au is a large country and to Sydney or Perth is two different world. I am sure MX83 can comment on this. The shipping cost suprise me too.

Secondly, i have ship two at a time. Four shocks together are too heavy.

Hi, I just did the conversion, the handling is alot better now. I heard that there are some unuse parts in the car that only works with the air suspension that I should just take it out from the car, like the ecu, or etc. Is that true? what are parts? where are they located in the car? So I can subtract some weight of my car. Thanks mod.

U can get rid of the pump and ecu... ece is located above the cd changer. U should also take out the two fuses in the engine bay fuse box. That will take out the AS light blinking.
