lexus v8 into a toyota 1984 hilux

hwsit wanna put a lexus v8 into my 84 2dr 2.2L diesel hilux just wondering if ne1 done this before and if any1 got ne tips cheers

its jsut like any other conversion
bloody expensive
make engine and gbox moutns
tailshaft
wiring
radiator
fans
hoses
have a shittt
cables
relocate battery maybe
exhaust

nothing really fits
so imagine biulding a car from scratch

maybe move handbrake
gearshift if auto
speedo cause yrs is cable
tacho modded to 4 cyl as desiel is no good
temp should be ok
oil is ok

fuel system

thats all i can think of the top of my head
but in conversions terms its a big job

yea gt engine mounts susd, wt needs doing to the tailshaft? most of the stuff doesnt seem that bigger job, e.g the wiring, radiator, fans,hoses
but yea dats just wot im thinking now probably alot harder wen i get into it, also youve sed the wiring so what do u mean by cables? im going to replace the old diesel tacho n speedo with a petrol 1 so dat should cover that? or maybe custom with a couple of aftermarket guages

its free in person
but 100 bucks a minute over the phone
which today just didnt stop
good thing about nokias
they haev **** batteries
so some days the phone is so crazy the battery runs out by 2 pm
so i just throw phone in toolbox andthen can actually get some work done


u need 4 cyl petrol dash form early hilux

cables are accelrator cable
maybe heator tap cable
speedo cable drive to suit 1uz box if yr going auto cause yr dash has cable speedo

to fit enigne is the easy part
can be done in half a day

the rest can take 2 weeks on and off
thats the part i hate
making mounts only takes half a day
