is the 1uz rev limit fuel or ignition cut?

so someone on cl is talking about n/a performance for the sc400 and revving to 7500 with cams and such and he says the emanage ultimate can raise rev limit and i thought "a piggyback can't do that". well i went to the greddy site and downloaded the ultimate's instruction manual and indeed it has this feature, BUT, it can only do it with factory fuel cut, not ignition cut. So which is it for the 1uz, if the ultimate will work on the 1uz and it's fuel cut, this could be huge for n/a performance!
