I Need to buy/borrow/rent a exhaust for a LS400/celsior to clear a defect notice.

I recently got a defect on my celsior for being too loud and even though I've fixed the aftermarket exhaust so that it is under the 90.8 Db limit the RTA mechanic only tells me on the second test that it has to be the factory exhaust for it too pass unless I get a engineers report for the exhaust.

So now the fun part I have to chase up a factory cat back exhaust or find a engineer that won't charge me the earth to get it done.

Does anyone have a exhaust for sale or know where I can buy one from? or know a engineers that is on the north side of sydney that I can take it too?

sounds like the RTA "mechanic" doesn't know what he is talking about, as long as its below the legal DB limit, not to close to any moving or flammable parts, and secure there is no reason it is un-roadworthy
