how to wire 91 ls400 ecu/ect

just wondering the simplest way to wire the ecu/ect with a w59 tranny in my tacoma, i havent got a straight answer on whether or not i can use the existing ecu out of ls400 and some how get it to operate without the ect portion, is there a way of running the stock ecu and a different trans, please any replies will help

u can run the 1uz ecu with a different gbox
just remove all the auto wiring out of the harness
trace where all the dash wires go and same with your tacoma
and join the necessary wires
