I am always working on something and have lots of questions like anyone. The 2JZ valves are .139" longer and many experts stated it would work and due to the longer stem will create great lift and better head flow. Here is more info about 2JZ & 1UZ Valves and 2JZ & 1UZ Springs
Here is what i found out for after market 2JZ parts:
SPRINGS: KMS Racing Springs:
High-strength chrome silicon dual springs
91 psi seat pressure (1UZ stock is about 45 psi)
Reliable performance up to 11,000 rpm
Retainers:
Highest quality aerospace grade titanium
CNC Machined to exact tolerances
American made – designed & manufactured at our product center in Georgia
Spring kit is about $400
VALVE: FERREA:
Ferrea introduces to the Sport Compact market the already race-proven Ferrea 6000 Series Competition Valves. These valves provide excellent reliability, have higher fatigue resistance and tensile strengths than their competitors' best offering, and all at a budget price! The 6000 Series Competition Valves are specially designed for street, drag and rally racing applications, and features flow improvements to deliver the power needed for today's sophisticated Sport Compact racing engines.
The 6000 Series Competition Valves are designed to provide excellent reliability in an environment of high spring pressures and roller cams, at a budget price. They have higher fatigue resistance and tensile strengths than their competitor's best offerings. These valves can be used in Drag and Street racing applications.
Valves are about $300
What do u guys think of these upgrades? Can someone do a computer dyno with the 2JZ valves/springs system?
