Hey,

I want to share with you this project. Its been done in my shop with some little parts. 370 WHP @ 7psi !!.

Specs:
- Stock 3uz Engine.
- Stock Auto Trans.
- AEM FIC8.
- Tial 44mm Wategate.
- Garrett T04 with 0.82 AR.
- Blitz Boost controller.
- Welbro Intank.
- PT 550cc Injectors.
- 12X24X3 Intercooler.
- Stock Exhaust manifold with some modification.

With 7Lb your just on the map too..
Much much more potential..
Wise durability wise...

I guess boost is almost instant ??
 
Larger exhaust housing would gain higher power on the T04Z..
You haven't reached it's full potential yet..
They flow 700 h.p...
Have you checked exhaust back pressure ?
Between head and turbine ??
 
You got skills fitting a T04 on the side of that GS block. Does that T04 have T4 inlet or T3 inlet? I think it's safe to stay below 9 psi on that engine. The rods on late models are fairly week.

With this turbo I can reach more than 600whp, But the Trans will not hold the power then the engine.

I didn't check the back pressure, But everything will be fine in these low levels of boost.
 
Very nice although I suspect your transmission will not last long.

I think 330rwhp may be a safer limit for trans longevity.
But hey, please prove me wrong. I have the same trans.

Until now everything seems OK. I'm looking for some upgrade but I don't know where to start and where to get the parts .. ?

Its 370whp on DynoDynamics, Which is equal 400whp on dyno jet. :)
 
wanted to say very nice job on your install and output. I was interested in the FIC: did you have any issues with the ecu fighting the fic? Did you use the fic-8? how was the tunning experience, did it seem to dial in fairly easy?

I've been looking for an engine management but had heard that the piggyback was nothing but an issue with our cars...hoping you can share your experience?
