gps conversion on the gold coast

Hello, a newbie on this site. Did a search for this but couldn't find a previous thread. Sorry if I've somehow missed one.

Anyway, I have a '97 imported lexus with a DVD driven GPS system but I'm told I can't get it to work in oz so I want to have it converted to a TV and DVD player. Anyone else had a similar conversion done on the Gold Coast? Where can you recommend and what's the cost?

Check out the Australian Lexus Soarer Club Site they have heaps of threads on what to do with the screens.

They would be the best people to ask.

Members of this site tend to be interested in an eclectic range of vehicles into which they put the Lexus V8. There are also many Lexus V8 owners here who modify their vehicles.

I guess you would say this Site is predominently populated by members who like to work under the bonett more than any other part.

Yeah I would suggest trying a lexus/soarer owners club/forum for hgelp with the screen
