ever thought about just having a glass bottle in a bag, then smash it..... as long as you're in your car, the sensor should trigger... it works by detecting the frequency emitted by glass breaking.... very distinct....
i work in the electronic security industry and play around with sensors all the time... it really depends on how sensitive they are... but like i said, just break some glass in the car (in a bag or something of course).... hope that helps
