Exhaust shop in Sydney

I just like to recomend an exhust shop in Sydney that did good quality job for a resonable price on my hilux 1UZ.
Ron and Mike from Tuffy mufflers at Rosebery fitted a compete system from the manifolds back (2" mandrel bends to Y piece, 2 1/2" press bend single system with high flow cat,muffler, resonater and 3" stainless tailpipe) for $650.
Hopefully this might help someone from being riped off (I spoke to a few other places who quoted from $1100 to $1500 for the same thing).

Is this a new installation or a replacement for another exhaust system?

sounds similar to my plan exept i will have mandrel everything, twin cats in the engine pipes and without a resonator.

what is the sound like(any chance of video footage/sound) and what type of muffler was used?(i will be running a straight through turbo muffler probably)

Installation not replacement, sorry I don't have any sound recorded but it does sound pretty good. Could have gone 3" mandrel for $150 extra but with crown exhaust manifolds and standard computer did not realy see the benefit.

Sounds like a plan lads!!

I'm putting one in my 82 Single cab 4x4 with a Dyna 5 speed. Talk about money sucker!!! What started out as an engine/gearbox conversion has turned into a major interior/exterior MAKEOVER!!

I've been talking to his excellency of exhausts JBrady and his many posts recommend exactly what you've done so i'm doing similar. 2.25" duals (only cause i'm scared if they dont weld it properly it will slighlty restrict 2" pipe) into single 2.5" DR Gas 90degree y-merge collector, mandrel bends, metal cat and muffler. May add another muffler if the cops like talking to me which is why i also would be interested in hearing yours....... I'm having headers made for mine tho cause i wouldnt sleep at night with standard manifolds. I could NOT believe my eyes when i saw them....

Any chance of you posting pics?? or sound file??

right, mine is done as above but it was press bent in the end as the guys reckoned theres is no shrp bends, it looks fine anyway and sounds great,
idles almost silently, growls right though the rev range. no video yet, still working out how to get it from the camera to the computer
