Engine Hoses

Hey yall,
I have just put a 1UZ into my truck (will post pics etc later).

I have the two transmission oil cooler lines hooked up to a cooler, but on the other side (LH), there are two pipes coming out of the engine block, can anyone please tell me what these are?

I'm guessing you have a rear sump Saorer engine.

If so these are the hoses for the hydraulic fan pump.

Ah thanks heaps, they really had me beat, I have never heard of a hydraulic fan before, and getting my tailshaft back today, wasn't going to run the engine without knowing what those hoses were. I have disconnected the electrical solenoid thing above hoses, will that stop it from running?
