Polyurethane Engine Mounts

Does anyone have experience using Polyurethane Engine mounts in place of OEM rubber mounts? I'm wanting to know whether Polyurethane mounts would transfer more engine noise and vibration through the car. Thanks

Definitely more vibration (not that the 1UZ is inherently vibey engine).

Anything nolathane increases force and vibration transfer. Suspension, subframes and engines.

Unless you're going full race car, I'd suggest you stick with an OE style rubber mount.

Thanks. I thought that might be the case. I've made a new set of pipes and might struggle with room for the large diameter OEM rubber mounts.
