Hello everyone, I'm new to the site.

My 1992 SC 400 GT has lost both of its driving lights over the past two weeks.

Is this a job for a auto electrician or it is the lights/bulbs themselves.

Cheers, top site.:happysad:

First off check your fuse box to see if it's blowing them.

Use a test lamp or meter to see if you have power at the light.

If you have power test the earth return.

If that all fails check the globes. Remember DO NOT touch the globe or the oil in your skin will make them blow very quickly.

I lost both mine at the same time, with no explanation, replacing the globes fixed the problem but follow what Zuffen said or just buy new globes and if it's not the globes you can keep the new one's in the glovebox for spares.

A Techniction at work told me it is very rare to blow both at the same time. All globes tend to blow when turning on because the globe is cold and has the most resistance.
