so i finally got my swap into my 94 2wd pickup nearly finished. Shes running but im trying to figure out how to get the trans all wired up. I was just reading on another post that it wont shift without the proper speed signals hooked up and these are ran into the abs computer and then converted is this correct. If this is needed to convert the signal to the proper signal. Thanks Louis Also will it hurt to just manuel shift the trans for now until i get the wiring all figure out. I can just leave the power to the trans unhooked.

one other thing. Will a harness and ecu from a 90 ls400 run the trans and motor. I can get ahold of these items easy and might be a simpler solution to getting the trans working properly

What ECU are you running now - there are a few options in crown ECUs. Cheers

i have the stock engine ecu and stock trans ect. I've decided im just gonna drive it manual shift for now and buy a suprastick in a month or so.

manually shifting it wont get all gears
u need some electrics to get all gears
u will prob fuk it more than anything over time
but hey its the forums u dont have to do things properly

drove it around for about 2 hours tonight the truck is so light it doesn't mind shifting 1-3-4

just hook up a switch to 2nd gear solenoids and switch it when u want 2nd hehe
i just sent a small shift unit to canada for a 1uz
