the large silver one i believe is the traction control module and the smaller black one is for the cruise control. There is also a control module for the telescopic and tilt steering. The auto transmition computor is located above the glove box. To acess this you have to remove the glove box interior.Above the steering column there is also a control unit for turning the headlights on and off automatically.There are between six and seven different computors in the crown depending wether it is auto or manual.I do have some spare electrical parts for the crown v8 as i am fitting the engine to an FJ75 landcruiser. Maybe you can help me. I need to know the wire colour codes to the fuel tank sender unit, as i am fitting the instrument cluster to the landcruiser and do not have a wiring diagram. the fuel guage wiring is the only lot i cannot work out without a wiring diagram. Thank you for your timely reply. As soon as I can remain at my workshop and finish up all the breakdown call outs I have had this week I will write down the location,colour,description,and the amperage of the instrument cluster wires and e-mail them to you. Would be much appreciated if you could tell me what colour code the wires to the fuel sender unit are. I know the wire which runs the fuel pump (positive wire) is a large green with yellow stripe. This is a two stage system, being that at engine idling, the fuel pump is supplied with approx. 8.5volts.Upon throtle opening, the fuel pump gets its required 12volts. It is wired like this to meet emition requirements in Japan. The lower voltage at idle gives a lower fuel pressure at idle, which is were fuel emitions are calculated from.Nissan also have this system.

yer but for every conversion i do i always run the pump at 12v or bat volts

this way if they ever mod the engine it will have always good voltage
