I mentioned this before in another thread, but as a minor comment. I'd like to get some input about this.
Can we rotate one of the cams so that the scissor gear on, say, the exhaust cam is retarded or advanced a tooth? This would allow us to play with cam overlap. Also, if we added adjustable cam gears into the mix, we could effectively get a lot of intake advanced/exhaust retarded (or vice versa) combinations.
I'm just wondering if this is possible, and I think it may be but the size of the teeth on the scissor gears will probably determine whether or not the effect would be too much.
