Been on this forum for a while now but havent yet posted. Im currently in the process of building the first 1UZ powered mk2 supra in the United Kingdom.
Im using an R154 5 Speed from a MK3 Turbo, bellhousing/clutch/flywheel etc from Castlemaine Rod Shop and a 1996 ls400 1uz.
Now this later spec version of the 1UZ uses a Hotwire AFM as im sure you all know and i was planning on using a Crown ECU as i read on this site that it will work with a manual gearbox unlike the LS400 ecu.
Problem i am having is that every crown ECU i have been able to find has been fitted with the earlier LS400 style Karmen Vortex AFM....
So my question is if i get a crown ECU will it be able to just plug in my Hotwire AFM and expect it to work? Or is the signal output from the Hotwire diffrent to the KV?
