Has any one done a conversion on an e28 5 series?
i know theres been e30, e36 etc.
From what i can see is the brake booster is a problem.
The steering box also may be in the way.
Ill have a look on some bm forums about changing to rack and pinion.

should be easy. iv got an e21 which is tiny and i got one in there. there are motor dimensions on this site somewhere, you should be able to tell if it will fit after measuring your engine bay.
just make sure you get a motor with the right sump (they come front, rear, and centre hanging).

thanks guys, the only issue i see is the brake booster which is huge.
Probably get a smaller 7 inch one
