Seeing as I'm doing wheel bearings , upper/lower bushes and lower ball joint I wanted to fit the bigger backing plates while I had the hub out , as later on 95 model 4 piston alloy calipers would be going on .
Was having trouble locating a new supplier in the States , so in desperation I rang Lexus of Brisbane and hey wow they have them and only $56.00 each !!
As the only way to replace them is with the hub off now was the time , don't fancy cutting them to get them on or taking the hubs out again at a later date or just bending the smaller 276 mm plates out of the way to clear .
It's very nice to have it all exact .
Just letting everybody know that you can get them from Lexus at a reasonable price.....and that's a first !!
