Hey guys,
What is the process for getting an engineer involved in car modifications in Australia? Does the engineer help you do the modifications, or does he just sign off on them? Is the cost of having an engineer approve a swap usually about the same as the cost of doing the swap itself? Just a few questions that I've been wondering about for the past ten years or so. I don't need a thorough answer, just your two cents. Thanks :)

I had my turbo V8 Falcon engineered about 5 years back.. It cost me $550 .. The work was aleady done. He just signed off on it after inspection..
Many things where changed from front brakes, intercooler, battery to boot etc...

I would contact one and do exactly what he says...

cost $750 for mine, car was half done when i bought mine,he inspected it first and told me what to change and also told me how to do some other things before i did them.

Did a db test to make sure it wasnt too loud also used a g-tech meter while doing the brake test just to give more info for tech inspectors and checked speedo accuracy(has to be withing 10%).
