I'm tubbing my Celica [RA28] it seems so daunting !!! Looks like I'll have to go coil over at rear of diff as I'm installing a four link as well ....
Bought another two lower control rods and fitting them on top to make a parallel four link...The coilover will have to behind the links...The rear body has been cut back to chassis rail, with four link moved inboard 30mm to allow bigger tyre..Any one else done this ???? Pics would be nice...

What's tubbing ZR8tt? I've never heard that term used before....

Something with coilovers or something?

Another term for it would be backhalfing. Used mostly in the drag race scene to stick the widest flippin slicks in the rear as possible.

i wouldnt really call it tubbing but on my corolla i removed the diff and 5 link mounts, and installed a nissan 240sx s13 rear suspention and i cut out the stock wheel wells, after the cage goes in ill use wheel tubs to create new wheel wells. kinda almost tubbings. i dunno.

Yea I guess you are right BUT I;m not changing the chassis rails...
Cheeze this has caused some grey hairs the last few weeks...
