Car: 1987 Toyota Corolla AE86

Engine: 1991 LS400

Transmission: 1985 Celica Supra W58

Details:

I DID NOT cut the firewall or trans tunnel to do this swap.

SC400 exhaust manifolds (must modify drivers side), and no-trac throttle body.
lowered front subframe 2 inches
custom one piece driveshaft and mounts
ae86 sr5 power steering lines are practically a direct fit.
summit racing scirocco radiator mounted in front of core support w/electric fans
Howe racing hydraulic release bearing
EGR deleted
twin 2 1/4" pipes into a single 3" under diff with random off the shelf muffler.

I have been driving it everywhere, every day it doesn't rain anyway. Almost completely useless in the rain.

This is so much more fun to drive than my supercharged 1.6 drift car, that I have convinced myself to put a 1uz into that as well.

I will keep you posted.
 
You said you dropped the front subframe 2in.
I gather that means you spaced the engine xmember down by 2in?
What did that do to the front suspension? Got photos?

Sorry, just saw your post.

Yes, spaced the engine crossmember 2 inches.

Only thing this changes as far as the front suspension is the roll center, which is easily corrected with roll center adjusters.
