'91 Ls400 No Sound, No Antennae But Radio On

To make a long story short, I inadvertantly reversed polarity while doing a hot shot (battery to battery) and blew a bunch of fuses. Don't ask. It was a diesel, ok?!

The radio power comes on, but antennae motor doesn't have power, and there is NO sound at all, even when I'm using the cd player.

I'm hoping someone knows exactly what the solution is... ?

the same thing is happening on my car but it wasnt due to a bad jump start.
i attempted to replace the stock stereo and ended up reinstalling it, to discover the previously functioning radio was now not producing sound or making the power antenna go up.

yeah..... check the 20amp fuse under the hood.

crank the volume up full bore and see if you can hear any sort of static or faint music

It`s my first post so - Hello everyone !

My english is poor so i can make some mistakes.

I have similar problem, I installed Kenwood radio and there is no sound. When I disconnect speakers harness (ISO) and then reconnect them the sound is played ok. Than if I turn the radio off and turn it on again the problem reoccures. There is no sound and I have to start the whole thing with the ISO...

Anyone have an idea what may be wrong?
