hello guys, i am ne here.
I am looking for help in diagnosing this slight vibration i have in my 91 LS. It runs smoothly till around 35 mph then there is a slight vibrarion in the right rear. This is independent of gear selector position (N or D) I took it to a toyota dealer, they said all was well and that it could just be bad tires. i changed the tires and it still does that. any ideas? one more clue: when driving above 45 it sounds like there is a highspeed vibration in the right rear. i am thinking bad wheel or drive shaft. any ideas? or am i just too sensitive to NVH?

i think you might have a bad drive shaft, but have yu tried balancing the rims? also have you drive shaft balance also..

Make sure to get all 4 tires balance. When u balance your tire any inperfection of the wheel will show up. However, you should also look into the rotors too.

thanks guys, i took it in and they told me that the worn suspension was getting the tires out of round. i had the tires rotated and now the vibration shows up at 45-55 once in a while. i am jhappy with the current situation and will be saving up for new springs and dampers all around. i wish i had a garage and could do the job myself. thanks a gain guys.
