Very interesting... With a 6500rpm limiter and 245/45-18 tires, it could theoretically top out at 246 miles per hour.......

I'd think it'd be much better suited with a much torquier engine than the 1UZ though... like an LS block. With the same specs as above mentioned, it'd be doing 60mph at 1600rpm's in 6th gear and only 2000rpm's in 5th.....

Fine for a boosted UZ...mine loves the 2.92 final drive which has me cruising @ 1800rpm for 60mph. No gear change required to overtake either

I'm with you on the expensive approx $15K at a guess?

that was one of the first things i knoticed about my 1uz supra and one i still love every day, i can do almost all of my driving in 5th only time i need to be in a lower gear is for spirited driving or i accaually had to stop.
