1uzfe vs 2uzfe

hey guys

is there any difference between the blocks of a 1uzfe and a 2uzfe engine? can either of these be bored out to 10.1cms or does the 2uzfe have more meat on it?

also does the 2uzfe have the same strong components (eg forged crack shaft) as the 1uzfe does?

are the heads any different?

any help appreciated

I think the 2UZ has a much large bore to begin with, and not a much longer stroke. I would think either could not be over bored too much without new cylinder liners.

I am curious if the 2UZ has a taller deck. In one of the supercharger threads, someone had an email from TRD stating this, but I am very doubtful of this. I have both 1UZ and 2UZ on stands, so I guess I could measure this.
