I have a 1989 turbo supra with early engine mounts and a r154 tranny. I have a friend who wants to buy my engine because he blew his n/a motor. I was just wondering if i need to keep my factory engine harness for the v8 swap or if i can give it to him. Also what else do i need to put the v8 in my car and keep the r154? Can i use the factory v8 ecu or do i need a standalone? Does anybody make engine mounts to bolt this into my car and keep the tranny in the stock location? I'm just trying to see what all i need and how much its gonna cost to put the v8 in my car. Thanks for the info and i'm sure i will have more questions in the future.
