1uz mkIII supra bonnet clearance

Hi all,

Been ages since i've posted here - been way to busy....

Just a quick question from the MKIII supra owners out there...does anyone have any details of how much clearance there is in the bay with the 1uz in...

Looking for the following:
1 - front of engine to radiator
2 - top of engine to bonnet

If anyone has any pics or measurements - please let me know.

Not an accurate measurement but I'd say less than 2" from the emblem on the intake to the hood. I have a strut bar running across that area and had to take some bend back out of it because it interfered with the hood closing. Now the bar sits just off of the emblem and everything is fine.

As for radiator to front of engine, I can grab measurements in a couple of hours once I leave work for the day. I also have plenty of pictures up at http://photos.google.com/1uzsupra as well as videos on my build site at http://1uzsupra.com

here is a top pic of my engine to get an idea of the engine to rad clearance. I will be able to take a mesurement a little later, as for hood clearace ive been wanteing to pick up some clay to get a very accurate mesurement of the room with the hood closed. but 2" sounds about right.
