thought i would put up my current project
60 series landcruiser with rust removed.
I am starting to think that rust was standard from factory in these things.
while the cab is off i am fitting the 1UZ to the standard 5 speed box
used a castlemaine kit that i have had for some time now and made a 10mm spacer to stop the input shaft hitting the crank.
it will be running a dyna clutch.
made the engine mounts the other night. used some holden to chev adaptors i had in the shed modified them to bolt to the toyota block.
they look like this:
then made the chassis mounts from 50x75x5mm RHS and plated 2 sides of the chassis with 5mm angle and finally gusseted it with 5mm plate for strength.
