1992 SC400 Trany swap to 95-97

Hey guys, my name is Raffi and I'm a first time poster. I would appriciate if someone could help/guide me. The Trany on my 92 SC400 went out, and I'm looking in to replacing it with 95-97 one, is this possible, and if it is, what do I need to do? And if any one has a transmission(good condition and low miles) for sale, please let me know.

thanks guys for ur help, one of my bodies that has a yard found a 93 sc400 trany w/78k miles and 90 days waranty for 300. I should get it tomorrow hopefully there is no problems with it.

Freakin (lol) JUNK YARDZZZ!!!!!

It turned out the Tranny that was suppose to have 78k miles, checked vin# with Lexus dealers data base, last miles reported was 03/2009 184k Miles...(and got this from a friend) uhhh. STILL IN THE MARKET FOR A Transmission, he has a 91 LS400 100k miles Transmission, would that fit? NEED Help, need a goog transmission... Please HELP.

So we hear that the '90-94 LS400 transmissions can be interchanged with the SC400 transmission without incident. And we know that the '95-97 LS400 transmissions are different from the '90-94 LS400 transmissions, and the same for the '95-97 SC400 transmissions vs. the '90-94 SC400 transmissions.
So the question is, will a '95-97 SC400 transmission interchange freely with a '95-97 LS400 transmission?
