the laws are different from state to state?

but, if you look at the underside off the bonnet, you will see the brace subframe of the bonnet.

you can get away with cutting the upperskin off the bonnet if you dont cut the subframe of the bonnet?

by doing this, your not affecting the structure or strenght of the bonnet.

just 1 way of getting around it.

or you can get a engineers report for the bonnet cut when you comply the engine swap that your doing.
