Windshield Replacement

Does anyone know the procedure to replace the windshield of the SC400 V8? I heard it's not hard but I never tried to do it. I guess a proper job will not make any noise and safe to drive.

Any input is greatly appreciated.

Step 1: Pick up phone
Step 2: Call windscreen replacement place
Step 3: Pick up beer
Step 4: Open beer
Step 5: Sit back and enjoy beer.

When guy comes to replace window redo steps 3 to 5

I agree but ensure there's more beer in the fridge. Got to make sure you don't run out.

Step 3 to 5 may need to be repeated many many times.

u could do it yourself, i just had mine replaced (window wiper came down while i was replaceing it, dam)
i was watching him put it in
he took off all moldings
cut the plastic things that hold the window into place (this part was hard) window will crack more when doing this
then remove rear veiw mirror
take out window
then he put like a window tar around were the track is
put new window on
put back moldings tar caulk will come out the cracks
put back rubber moldings on
tape down window coners
dont wash for 24hrs
then your done
took the window gut about 30min

i think peewee is right, lots of beer
but if u think u can do it why not try lol

Well, that doesn't seem hard, but I think I'll do like Peewee for safety. I wouldn't want the windshield to fly off due to the high vibration from the streets. I'll start buying some Heinekein or Corona liquid to seal the cracked windshield and my stomach.
