Standalone ECU Which stand Alone are you using?

I plan to use either an AEM, Motec 800 or Autronic unless something else comes out that is better and/or cheaper before I am ready.

Haltech E6X stock everything except haltech twin channel igniters.Very simple install.

Autronic SM4 and 500R CDI firing 8 MSD coils in waste spark mode.

Autronic SM4 for me as well.

Question for 1ndecent, with the R500 CDI why didn't you go for the 8x single coils setup using the 4 ignition outputs from the SM4 going to the R500 to drive 8 coils and no waste spark?
