Wedge Crank

Anyone know anything about it? I know lots of Honda N/A use them and this supposely bring the redline alot higher due to lighter crank. Any thoughts on this?

Do you mean a knife edged crank? Totally unneeded in a street car application. The 1uz and 2uz already have a rod ratio more favorable than many applications out there, so it should be able to spin pretty high off the bat, given the right conditions. Condidtions include but are not limited to, valve springs, cams that will take advantage of the extended redline, and a custom flexplate.

What about a 9000rpm redline? Do you think it would be more advantageous at this RPM?

Many more things would be advantageous at 9000rpm before a knife edged crank. It's your money so it's up to you to make decision to spend it on something like this, while other areas are lacking.

I think the 3uzfe would be a better choice to wedge or knife edge. 3uzfe is much lighter then 1 or 2uzfe.
