@ uzz32soarer

Is that an M90 or is it only the intake elbow from an M90

if it's an M90 what presure it it running, with what pulley's, and how much power are you making.

if you can share that info I'd be very happy!

regards Thomas

I'm running a Magnuson M90 from C's in Japan who manufactured the kit for the Soarer and Celsior.

It's a complete kit including manifold, blower and ECU.

Running 7.5lbs of boost and putting 187 rw/kw of power. Makes a very nice drivable car out of the UZZ32 Active suspension Soarer.

Wow that's a quick awnser.

to be clear 7.5 LBS is the same as 7.5 PSI....??? (true?)

what size pulleys are you running, to get this ration on an M90

thanx so far.

grtz Thomas

Striker,

7lbs is the same as 7psi.

David,

Took a sidetrack.

Very busy at work as I'm now an employee!! I'll retire soon and have time.

I'm currently building an entire new truck from the chassis up.

I have the Rover chassis on the floor and it's fitted with a Nissan Patrol rear axle and half fitted the front with all Nissan steering. I'll retain the Rover 4 spot calipers as I want it to stop.

I'm fitting 12.5 x 35 tyres (tires) up from 33" to give me better gearing. It was a bit undergeared before.

I'll be using Nissan Patrol transmission and my trusty 1UZ to power it. I ordered the steel to make the adaptor plate on Monday so it should be started in a few days.

The engine is a problem. Until I shift the spare Argo rods my wife has banned the engine build. Sounds tough but I do have $12,000.00 worth of rods on the shelf.

The body will simply be transplanted onto the new chasssis.

I figure another $5,000.00 would see the engine built.

I need a new flywheel and clutch and that's it.

Then all I have to do is get it engineered so I can legally drive it on the road.

Rod,

What type of valve are you using? I am thinking about your setup with 2uzfe stroking 3.50" bring it up to 5.0L. I will be using 2JZGTE Valves on it.

Dave,

Standard valves but nice porting job.

I figure at 18psi it will flow heaps.

If I want more flow, turn up the boost with a bogger crank pulley!

Rod,

12 grands worth of rods on the shelf. My Mrs would have a couple of nuts on the shelf as well if that were me.
Sounds like a serious weapon your building there. Check out the tirerack.com for tyres. I had mine delived to the door in 6 days, 40% cheaper than buying them here in Aus.

No point in the Mrs putting an extra couple of nuts on the shelf.

I've already had the snip!

One day the rods will sell and 'll get my engine.

Trouble is once my car is faster than her's she'll go buy a new faster one so it will cost me another bundle!

Rod,

How many set of rods left and how many are reserved? With those rods, you can move Australia little closer to the USA.

I've got 6 sets unspoken for.

I'm not particularly stressed about them as it will be 6 months before the truck is ready for the engine but it would be nice to know they all had homes.

I personally like that fact supercharger should be driven independently. One example would be the Ford Lightning. This is good if something happen to the supercharger (slip or broken) the car still run. If the supercharger is driven by the single belt and some happen to the supercharger belt, then you need a towl truck.

Don't know about all blown setups but i know that i can take the belt off the HE112 on my 1UZ & it still runs fine.
