Don't know if this is the best place for this, mods please move if required.

The main reason i am posting this is loosecannon has asked for some pics of what i did a while back to get my motor running without a computer.

Sorry the pics are blurry, if wasn't going away tomorrow i would have retaken them.

These pics are of the dissy mount i made, it bolts on in place of the LH dissy cap, the dissy i used is a modified Valiant electronic that was driven by a 17mm socket on the timing sprocket retaining bolt.
I will post up the pics of the dissy when i find it when i get back from work.

Cheers Brenton.

You Aussies never cease to amaze me; that is one cool setup Brenton.

How did it run with those loooooonnnngggg runners?

As i only did all this to just make the engine a runner i never did any development, i reckon 2 small 4 barrel holley's (390's or 465's) would have worked better & i also had a problem with the dissy's advance plate hanging on it's soft mountings allowing the pickup to contact the rotor making timing erratic.
I did run it on the dyno once, it only produced 150ish rwhp.
I may play with it again one day just to see how well or bad the set up would work.

Cheers Brenton.
