I posted this up on tundratalk, but I have my suspicions that the people here might know a bit more than they would.
I hear tell it could be a solenoid.
any other help greatly appreciated.
meaning if you correctly diagnose my issue over the internet/phone, I will send you some cash.
just stopped going into reverse. does not grind, clunk, or shift weird or do ANYTHING else strange. no missfiring or anything strange. no electrical issues.
trans is full of good fluid, have no drained it yet. I just want to get a good idea of what direction to go in, and how to fix it, before I take the truck off the road.
also, I missed a really nice ls400 last week as a donor for my 95.5 reg cab shortbed 2wd 1uz FI tacoma build.
